About Lynne

Lynne is a self taught artist, born in Jarrow, England 1973. After winning a packet of felt tip pens in an art competition at the age of five and completing her first commissioned portrait at twelve years old, she knew she was put on the world to paint and has never looked back. Lynne managed to achieve her dream of becoming a professional artist in 2009.

Over the years her style has developed and improved. Inspired by nature, travel, wildlife and emotion, she is a passionate painter of beautiful, expressive and sometimes quite large images. Her favourite medium is oil on canvas.

Lynne has exhibited extensively. Her first, very successful solo exhibition was at the Oxmarket Centre of Art in Chichester, March 2011.
