Please contact the artist directly if you would like to purchase an original. All original artwork is produced at Lynne’s studio/gallery in Denmead, Hampshire. Lynne likes to paint on a large scale , enabling her to create as much movement and spontaneity in her work as possible, regardless of the subject matter. Her preferred medium is Acrylic on canvas . Lynne used to paint in oils but the benefits of Acrylic paint changed her mind a few years ago.
Acrylics were made commercially available in the 1950s . Scientific studies have been conducted on Acrylic paint and it has fared the same as oil paint under careful, controlled light, temperature and moisture tests. Acrylic paint is very elastic which prevents cracking from occurring. Oil paint films can become increasingly yellow and brittle with time.Lynne is happy to give advice on framing your original artwork. Please ask.
